Oatey® Air Admittance ValvesOatey air admittance valves - AAV's are available to suit 50mm and
40mm pipe.
Due to the diaphragm material, and the way the valves are constructed,
they are self cleaning and suitable to handle 18 drain fixture units
DFU's*.
The valves are sealed so to stop tampering and do not require ongoing
maintenance.
They can be installed in a wall, ceiling or undersink in kitchens and
will handle high temperature from a hot water dispenser.
*An air admittance valve's ability to breathe is measured in Drainage Fixture Units or DFU's.
